A true life, Christmas kindness story

A couple of weeks ago I had a call from the Senior Writer from “That’s Life” magazine. Smita Mistry had been looking for stories to feature in the upcoming Christmas editions of the Magazine and had stumbled across Ways to Amaze on Google, and in particular a blog post I had written in December 2012 about my random acts of kindness challenge. You can read it here.

Smita loved the concept and during a half hour interview about how Ways to Amaze began and what’s it all about, she asked how I met my husband. It just so happened that I met my husband six years ago on a Christmas charity pub crawl and this tied in beautifully with the rest of the story.

The article has just been published in this week’s That’s Life magazine which is available to purchase now and until Wednesday 18th December in Australia.

I am thrilled at the result and it will be a wonderful memento to show our son when he is older. It just goes to show that no matter how long ago you perform acts of kindness, it can work its magic back into your life in a truly positive way. Enjoy the read and have a magical, kindness filled, Christmas and New Year.

I read your story published in That’s Life! recently and loved it. I think you are an inspiration for getting this idea off the ground and into reality. I plan to share it with everyone I know. That will save advertising costs LOL. Keep up the kindness!
