Offering a lift to strangers

I was parking up near my home at around 10.30 pm when I saw a group of people walking up the steep hill. I realised that the bus was no longer operating and thats why all these people including elderly couples were slowly making their way up.

I decided to offer them a lift so I called out the window and they were absolutely thrilled and relieved. There wasn’t enough room for everyone but I said I would make as many trips as necessary so I took the first few people home who were so grateful especially as it would take them at least 25 mins to walk home. Then I went back to get the others. I got back home ten minutes later feeling great. It’s amazing how just a little bit of thought for others goes a long way to making everybody feel great.
