This incident happened in South Africa where I lived until 2009. This happened in November 2006. I was driving to a meeting where our charitable organization was discussing ways to get funding to purchase school books for a school that catered for children that had come across the border illegally. On my way there, I was stopped a a red traffic light. While waiting for the light to change, a man cam to my car and started hammering at the window until the glass broke. Of course I was shaken and could not do anything as he had broken the front passenger window. He ducked into the car, grabbed my handbag and ran off. the next night, I received a call from my brother asking me if I had lost my driver’s licence. I told him what had happened the night before. He told me that my licence was found and that gave me the name of the person who had it. I called the person the next morning and he told me that when he saw it was a driver’s licence, he Googled my name and found my brother’s name and contact details and contacted him. He asked me for my working address and the next day, he delivered my licence to me.
